Ingredients

Serves 4-6 (Makes about 16 pieces)

  • 2 packages HeartBrand® All-Beef Franks (8 franks total)
  • 1 (8-ounce) tube refrigerated crescent roll dough (or 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed)
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds or everything seasoning (optional)
  • Dipping sauces (optional): Dijon mustard, spicy mustard, or ketchup

Preparation

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prep the Franks: Pat the franks dry with a paper towel. Cut each frank into 2 bite-size pieces.
  3. Wrap: Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Cut each triangle lengthwise into 2 smaller strips. Wrap one strip around each piece of frank, stretching slightly to cover.
  4. Egg Wash: Place wrapped franks seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush lightly with beaten egg. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or everything seasoning if using.
  5. Bake: Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and deeply golden.

Serve: Let cool for 2–3 minutes, then serve warm with Dijon or your favorite dipping sauces.
