One-Skillet Smoked Certified Akaushi Beef™ Sausage and Radish Wedges
1 pound Certified Akaushi Beef and pork smoked sausage
1 pound radishes, cut into wedges
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons butter or oil
1/4 cup onion, diced
1 tablespoon thyme, chopped
1/2 tablespoon rosemary, chopped
Pinch of Kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1.Wash and cut radishes into evenly sized wedges.
2.In a skillet over medium heat, add butter and heat until it begins to sizzle.
3.Add the garlic, onion and herbs to the skillet and allow to cook down.
4.Add radish wedges to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper and allow to cook 15 to 20 minutes, or until tender, stirring frequently.
5.As radishes are cooking, cut the Certified Akaushi Beef smoked sausage into 1/4-inch slices.
6.After radishes have been cooking for 15 to 20 minutes, add the smoked sausage slices to the skillet and allow them to heat for about 5 minutes, stirring once to turn them.
7.When sausage slices are heated through, remove skillet from heat. Squeeze lemon juice over the sausage and radish mixture. Serve and enjoy!
